Caldwell is an extraordinary climber. He is known for making an amazing route on a face in Yosemite. He recognizes that he benefits from the beautiful natural rock faces in the United States and around the world, and has recognized that because of this, it is his responsibility to fight to protect these places and preserve the natural wonders of the world. He testified in Congress about how actions are needed to be taken to prevent climate change.

Souder had a career ending concussion while playing soccer at Hood College, and decided to dedicate her life to concussion awareness for young athletes, especially soccer players.
