Board of Directors
Our Board of Directors is composed of 24 dedicated individuals who volunteer their time to keep us focused on the Fiver mission. Our major committees include: Finance, Governance, Program and Development.
Fiver Advocates
Our Advocates are a group of non board mid-career professionals, who promote Fivers programs and accomplishments, secure organizational and individual financial resources through fundraising activities, facilitate pro bono support, and provide opportunities for Fiver participants.
CNY Steering Committee
Our Steering Committee is composed of individuals who raise awareness about Fiver in Central New York through community engagement and fundraising, through individuals, foundation, and community support.
Individual Volunteer Support
You can help in a variety of ways! Volunteer opportunities usually include but are not limited to: Program or Special Events Mailings, Event Set Up, Supervising Activities and Stations, Clean Up, Photography, Accounting/ Clerical Support, Core Programming/ Call Outreach, & Language Translation/ Interpreter.
Corporate/ Group Volunteer Engagement
Throughout the year we have group volunteer opportunities that are ideal for corporate groups or other types of organized groups (sports teams, fraternities, sororities, etc). These can be either virtual or in-person, here at our NYC office or at our camp in upstate New York.
