BIO: Dorcas oversees program quality, case management, and alumni support, focusing on career planning and personal growth. She brings seven years of expertise in crisis intervention and youth development.

FUN FACT: Dorcas is a fan of horror movies, psychological thrillers, and historical dramas. Oh, and if there’s chocolate around, consider it her ultimate weakness!

BIO: Jesus joined the core team in 2022 after four summers at Camp Fiver. He designs in-person and virtual programs for all Fivers and leads paid opportunities that help teens build leadership skills and gain work experience.

FUN FACT: Jesus went to Japan and became friends with a capybara!

BIO: A licensed social worker and former Camp Director for sixteen years, Mary now brings insight from nearly two decades at Fiver to overseeing strategic planning + program evaluation & design.

FUN FACT: Mary loves watching any sporting event, playing board games and spending time outdoors with her daughter. She hates bats but thinks dinosaurs are pretty cool.

BIO: Joe has over 20 years of experience in facilities maintenance and joined Fiver in 2019.

FUN FACT: Joe has two dogs, a golden retriever and a yellow labrador.

BIO: Kaya, a Fiver alum, began as a seasonal camp counselor in 2017 and joined the full-time team in 2023. She manages family events, camp hiring, and behind-the-scenes operations to ensure a smooth transition to into camp season.

FUN FACT: While visiting Jamaica, Kaya took an unforgettable ride on horseback through the ocean!

BIO: Omar manages Fiver’s grant/foundation portfolio and executes marketing efforts, bringing over four years of experience building the capacity of impactful youth programs and community initiatives.

FUN FACT: Omar considers himself a car enthusiast, hip-hop connoisseur, and an avid world traveler.

BIO: With two decades at Fiver, Christie builds partnerships, oversees operations, secures resources to advance our mission, and serves as president of the American Camp Association, NY & NJ board.

FUN FACT: Christie is a mother of twins and enjoys hiking and exploring national parks.

BIO: Mabel has grown with Fiver over the past five years and now leads camp enrollment, daily operations, and collaborates with senior leadership on all HR efforts to support all staff across the organization.

FUN FACT: Mabel hopes to open up her own cafe one day, providing a multi-functional and cozy space for all beverage and baked goods lovers!

BIO: Dio is a result-driven professional with a passion for community building and empowering organizations that work toward a more equitable society.

FUN FACT: Dio enjoys new restaurants, long walks, music, and podcasts like On Purpose and Nonprofit Lowdown.

BIO: Aislee has led year-round program planning and execution throughout her three years at Fiver, pulling from 10+ years of experience in youth development & an MA in Youth Studies.

FUN FACT: Aislee lived in Berlin for a month and is learning German.

BIO: Jessica manages Fiver's donor database, oversees donor/volunteer engagement, and assists with event logistics and alumni relations, ensuring strong connections with supporters and smooth event operations.

FUN FACT: Jessica balances her free time between knitting, crocheting and gaming.

BIO:  Anthony guides participants through their educational journeys, providing comprehensive support for academic transitions, from navigating middle school changes to applying for high schools and colleges.

FUN FACT: Anthony practices graphic design on his spare time and is a New York Knicks fan!
