Meet Fiver’s Newest Board Members!

Fiver recently welcomed two board members, Jenny Perlman Robinson and Chris Haines, who bring unique perspectives and experiences to our organization’s leadership.

Jenny is a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Center for Universal Education at Brookings Institution. Chris is Vice President at Hodes, Weill & Associates.

Jenny rejoins Fiver’s board after a brief hiatus. “I am excited to spend more time with Fivers and the team to learn from each of them,” Jenny says. When asked what about Fiver’s mission excites her, she explained, “Fiver's ten year commitment to each child; its holistic approach to youth development; how the organization and individuals truly embody the principles that it stands for around positive youth development, equity and social justice; and certainly, not least, the significant impact it has had over the years.”

Summer camp and after school programs were a large part of Chris’ life growing up and ultimately shaped who he is today. When asked what some of his goals are for joining the board, Chris explained, “I hope to be able to continue to spread Fiver’s mission and increase support from the communities that it serves. Also, I would like to ensure that the organization remains a consistent support network that Fivers can count on.”

Please join us in welcoming Jenny and Chris to Fiver’s Board of Directors.
