Hey friends! My name is Allessandra Mitchell but at camp I go by Alex. I am a proud Fiver alumna from the class of 2008. I am so excited to be on the Camp WiFiver team this summer to bring an incredible camp experience to our participants. This has by far been my favorite experience because the passion and love Fiver has for the participants we serve shines. My favorite part of being at camp is everything outdoors. The open space, lake and pool. Outside of camp I really enjoy event planning and design and I am a full time guidance counselor at a high school in The Bronx.

YUURRRRRRR what it do?! It's ya boy Bryan Altamirano and this year I’m a counselor for Strawberry and the Community Outreach Coordinator for this summer. I am extremely excited for this summer. Seeing the time and effort that the other staff members have put in to make sure we can recreate the camp experience online. We have many exciting projects that we are currently working on to make the kids laugh and just give them a breath of fresh air during these troubling times. My favorite sport is volleyball! I am a big anime fan and music is a big part of my life. Can’t wait to meet y'all and excited to share these camp vibes!

I am a Fiver alumni from the class of 2013 and I’ve been a part of the Fiver staff since 2015 holding many roles from counselor to Character Education Specialist. Hello! My name is Imani Jones, and I’m a Fiver alumna class of 2009. As Fiver continued to be my home away from home, I’ve had various roles within this organization after graduating. This includes the roles as a Counselor, LEAD Director, and Alumni Board Member. I’m happy to be back this year for Camp WiFiver to help create an authentic camp experience for our Fiver participants! My favorite hobbies include cooking new recipes and running marathons. Fun Fact: Attending/working with Fiver and seeing the positive influence this program has created for our youth has encouraged me to become an Elementary School Teacher!

Hey Fivers! My full name is Elizabeth Ramirez but my camp nickname is Liz or Liz-ard. I’ve known of Fiver since I was in middle school through my bestfriend and alumna Vinita Atkins. I started my Fiver journey in 2014 as a Hazel unit counselor and have taken up different responsibilities both at camp and in the year-round office. Fun Fact: If I’m not wearing my Fiver T-shirt or socks, you’ll see me sporting my shark suit!
Hey friends! My name is Christie Ko. I started out as a unit director at Camp Fiver in 2002. I came back as the camp director (2005 - 2008) and finally executive director for the past 11 years. I live in Queens with my twin ten-year-old daughters, Summer and Kelsey and my husband, Will. We are a family of Fiver fans. Instead of lullabies, we sang camp songs to the girls as babies.
Hey Everyone! My name is Chris, I live in Syracuse, NY. I help with all sorts of behind the scenes work, including grants, evaluations, and camp applications. This is my second summer at Camp (Wi)Fiver and my 7th summer at camp. When I’m not working at Fiver, I like to run and play music!
Hi Fivers! I’m Genesis Rodriguez the 7th & 8th Grade Program Supervisor. My journey with Fiver began as a volunteer for the NYC program team in 2018 then was hired full time in 2019. I never got the opportunity to go to camp as a kid so I was excited to spend the summer of 2019 at Camp Fiver and have an authentic camp experience. Fun Fact: Larry G taught me how to swim summer of 2019! Larry G taught me that you can be a Learner at any age!
Hi all, my name is Mabel Munoz! I am a proud alumna of the Fiver class of 2015 and currently the 5th-6th Grade Program Associate. Within the past three summers, I have had various roles as counselor, Hazel Unit Director, and have had the honor of being the Literacy Specialist for the past two years. Loving all things camp, my favorite things to do at camp are walk (carefully) in the creek, weaving, hiking and SUNDAY FUNDAY. My favorite movies are Inside Out and Frozen 1+2. Fun Fact: My birthday lands on National Pizza Day February 9th and it is ironically my favorite food!
Hi all, I’m Mary Lee Dinski the Camp Director at Fiver. I started working at Fiver in 2003 as a cabin counselor and so excited to spend my 18th summer at Fiver. I became the Camp Director in 2009 and feel so fortunate to find a community and job that I love so much. The first dog tag I earned was Team Player and I was really excited to earn that again this summer. My favorite places at camp are the lake and the free time area. My favorite dinosaur is the Marydactyl and recently in my spare time I have enjoyed painting and gardening.
Hello!! My name is Natalie Cruz and I am a fiver alumna, class of 2016. I joined Fiver’s summer staff in 2019 and I'm so excited to bring this new version of camp to our campers! I’m really looking forward to teaching knitting, jewelry making, and watercoloring. Creating the content we will be sharing with the kids has been heaps of fun and I can’t wait for these sessions to start. Hi, my name is Rebekah Taylor, but I prefer to go by Reb. I graduated from Camp Fiver in 2015 and joined the Fiver summer staff in 2017. This summer I’m working on environmental education and hiking as well as other elective classes. Even though this summer is completely uncharted territory, I’m so excited to be a part of Camp WiFiver and I hope to make it a great experience for every camper! Fun Fiver Fact: The campgrounds span 129 acres of land and there’s beautiful trails all throughout the wooded areas of camp! Some of them you may not have seen before or you haven’t seen them for a long time so I’m excited to bring you all along on my virtual hikes.

Hi! I’m Danica de Lisle and I am from New Zealand. I was lucky enough to join the Fiver Family in 2015 as a counselor and have held a few different roles since such as CES, Learn Director and now I am in my third summer as the Operations Director. I am so grateful to be a part of WiFiver and see you all through our screens this summer. My favourite place on camp is anywhere with water, my favorite season is summer and my favorite dog tag is Learner (which I’m still trying to earn!).

Hi, I’m Natasha Isokangas the 9th & 10th Grade Program Supervisor. I started in 2018 and have supported teen programming in the city office since then. Working at Fiver has inspired me to become a teacher, so i’m honored to move forward with that next step in my career this year. But before I do, I am super excited to spend another summer with you all via Camp WiFiver! My favorite activities at camp are the campfires and getting to have late night swims with my LEADers.
Hi everyone, I’m Melissa, and I’m the director of development here at Fiver. My job is to tell everyone about all the great things we do here so that they will donate money and make camp and all our fun programs throughout the year possible. I am also excited to help the team get your care packages to you before each session begins. When I’m not working, I am working on perfecting my makeup skills, and patiently waiting for the musical “Hamilton” and Beyonce’s “Black is King” to come to Disney+!
Hi Fivers! I’m Kara and I am Fiver’s Development Manager. I work with Melissa to fundraise for Fiver and oversee our marketing and communication plans. (So if you interact with the Fiver Instagram or Facebook pages that’s me!) When I’m not working, I am home in NJ with my husband, Tom, our two pet rabbits, Lily & Rudy, and our dog, Simon. During this time of social distancing we are also taking care of Fiver’s favorite turtle, Tortellini.
Hi! My name is Seltzer and I came to Fiver during the summer of 2019 and originate from the Rochester, NY area. They say I am a miniature lop rabbit, although I seem to be bigger than many other miniature rabbits. My very first dog tag was courageous and I am hoping to earn compassionate this summer.
