What’s New: 20th Anniversary Celebrations

On June 8-9, Fiver kicked off our 20th anniversary with our first ever Alumni Reunion. Held at Camp Fiver, we hosted over 100 Fiver graduates and former staff for a weekend of reconnecting with old friends, making new ones, enjoying camp, and thinking about the future of our Alumni programming. Activities included old favorites like Capture the Flag, the Fiver relay race, time at the pool and lake, campfire at Tucker Point, and a dog tag ceremony. Alumni also gave back by writing notes of encouragement to first time campers, graduating seniors, and camp staff. In addition, Alumni held a town hall discussion to offer their input on the future of alumni programming at Fiver. We are excited to continue the conversation as our alumni program grows.

Fiver Family Day

Our annual Fiver Family Day took place on May 18th in Central Park and we could not have asked for a more perfect day. This annual event brings Fivers, Alumni, Volunteers, and Staff together to relax, play games, enjoy great food, and connect. Click here to see the full album of Family Day photos.

Annual Benefit

Our Annual Benefit took place on May 21 at Gotham Hall and raised over $700,000. Kendis Gibson hosted an evening Celebrating our Fiver Stories, including the entire room joining together in a Camp Fiver song. Click here to see the full album of Benefit photos.

The Summer Soiree

Our Young Professionals Committee hosted their first annual Summer Soiree on May 30th, raising over $5,000 for our mission. The cocktail and networking reception brought together a diverse group of young professionals passionate about giving back. The room was filled with so much enthusiam for Fiver. White & Case Day of Service

On June 11, White and Case held its annual Day of Service at Fiver’s NYC Office. Summer Associates, from the firm, joined the Fiver team in a day of office beautification. Three community spaces in the Fiver Office were reworked to better serve our students and staff. In addition to more functional work spaces, the Summer Associates painted a beautiful mural in our Warren and made Fiver attribute posters to decorate cabins at Camp. We would like to extend a huge thank you to White and Case for supporting this project.
