New Board Leadership: Meet Jim and Michèle

Fiver is pleased to announce our new Board Chair, Jim Roper, and Vice-Chair, Michèle Brazil. We are grateful to each for their commitment to our mission and are excited to have them lead our incredible group of board members.

Jim Roper is the Vice Chairman of Pi Capital, a global, independent investment bank providing strategic advice and private capital access. Prior to joining Pi Capital, he spent twenty years at Lehman Brothers and served in several capacities in the Fixed Income Division. Jim was also a member of Lehman’s Fixed Income Operating Committee. He has been a member of the Fiver Children’s Foundation Board of Directors since 2001. Jim earned his business degree from Boston College and is the proud father of four children.

Michèle Brazil received a BA from Wellesley College. Upon graduating from Wellesley, Brazil worked various positions in the entertainment industry, including work on an Academy Award-nominated documentary before taking a position at Sundance Channel, where she coordinated and managed shoots for Original Programming and live filming of the Sundance Film Festival Awards shows.  As a freelance Producer, Brazil’s experiences included several NBA All-Star Weekends, the launch of Tempo! Channel in the Caribbean for MTV Networks as well as leading sponsorship relations for Essence Music Festival.  She has been a member of Fiver’s Board since 2015.
