What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

Here’s how you can participate:

  • Join the campaign as a fundraiser and help Fiver meet our $50,000 goal! To sign up, visit our #GivingTuesday page, and click on ‘Join the Campaign’ button to sign up.

  • Be part of our match pool of donors and incentivize our campaign donors, many of whom are first-time donors, and essentially double what they contribute. Match pool participation starts at $500. To participate, contact Melissa Benjamin, melissa@fiver.org
