Funder Spotlight: Youth INC.
Fiver is currently participating in three Youth INC Programs: the Spring 2022 Fuel Series, RISE Academy for Leaders of Color, and the Metrics Program.
The Fuel Series provides revenue capacity-building training and ongoing peer support to Youth INC's nonprofit partners and will focus on sharpening Fiver's revenue model, revenue strategy, organizational design, resource allocation strategy, and revenue culture through a combination of workshops, one-on-one coaching, and peer learning.
We're so proud of Fiver's Director of Development, Melissa Benjamin, who recently completed the RISE Academy for Leaders of Color program as a member of its inaugural cohort. This program strives to shift the landscape for ascendant BIPOC nonprofit leaders of youth development organizations. The 15-month program, developed in partnership with the Center for Nonprofit Leadership at Adelphi University in New York, allows participants to earn a comprehensive certificate in Organizational and Community Leadership from Adelphi, as well as a six-month mentorship with professionals within the Youth Inc network.
Fiver is also receiving two years of support from Youth INC's team as part of the Metrics Program. As part of this engagement, Fiver's entire program team participates in professional development workshops to reinforce their knowledge of positive youth development theory and the foundational philosophy for our approach to working with youth. In addition, we have monthly coaching calls to support goals such as creating a new logic model aimed at better articulating our unique model to external stakeholders.
Thank you Youth INC for your incredible support of Fiver!
