All in for Fiver: a Success

In mid-March, Fiver made the difficult decision to cancel our in-person 20th anniversary benefit.  As an organization, we were unsure how the transition to a stay-at-home event would impact our largest fundraiser of the year.  Thanks to our incredible supporters and corporate partners, our first adventure into the world of virtual events was an overwhelming success!  We raised over $700,000, and while we weren’t able to gather in person, the feeling of community and family that are the hallmark of any Fiver event could still be felt through our interactive benefit website, community Zoom chat, and across our social media channels.  We hope to incorporate elements of our virtual event into future events once we are able to safely gather in person again.
